We sand, stain, and refinish treads, posts, risers, and handrails.
We install new stair treads, handrails, spindles, and posts. We can also customize your handrail with stylish iron designs featuring cables, bars, or any personalized design.
THE PROCESS:
- The team wraps up the areas around the staircase to prevent dust from spreading all over the house.
- They will take down all the spindles to create more space for perfect sanding.
- Then, we start by sanding the treads with an edger sander and using a hand scraper to reach all the nooks and crannies.
- The crew will repeat the process for newel posts and railings without the help of any machines. The entire process is manual, making it very delicate.
- Next, they apply one coat of stain. Before applying it, we always lay out 4 color samples on one tread to ensure it matches the homeowner's preference.
- Finally, but not least, we will coat everything with 4 coats of polyurethane to ensure the staircase will be well-protected for a long time.
- To finish off, the team paints the stringers, risers, and balusters white.
